I am having the same problem with a male suri I got. He eats medium rats and is pretty big. I have been tagged by him twice so far and haven't even messed with him in a couple of weeks. He is just plan evil. I have 20 snakes and that is the only snake that I can't handle. It is very sad because he is so beautiful. I can't help you because I can't figure it out myself. Maybe as we both get some progress going and find new ways to handle these aggressive snakes to help make them calm, maybe then, we can help each other out. :D

I forgot to mention she is around 5 and a half feet long. I prefer not to get biten by her or any snake. I have been bite before I just always try to prevent it.

Ok so I had a female shipped to me that is 100% het albino kahl. She is very beautiful but trys to eat me up everytime I touch her. I got her on monday I fed her and got her out of the feed bin and placed her in her cage. I left her alone til weds. I got her out by hand and she seemed fine then out of no where she tried to bite me. I grabbed her behind the head an held her for a few minutes then placed her back in her cage. I figured she was just pissed from being shipped. Today I opened her cage and she started hissing and opened her mouth. Then tried to bite me again. I still got her out by grabbing the back of her tall and body to put her in a bin cause she had pooped. I cleaned her cage and put her back in it. The whole time she was trying to bite me. LOL! the guy I got her from said he handled he very often but had not handled her for about to weeks before shipping her. She was eating 1 large rat every month and he had not fed her yet he just shipped her because I had gotten her food already. I have had snakes for 3 or so years but all of mine have been very tame. I am just looking for some ideas I can do to calm her down. I am not sure if she is still pissed from being shipped or what. ANY IDEAS!!!!
